Gerald Pierson (Plainview)

Gerald Pierson, 71, of Plainview passed away on December 21, 2022 in Plainview.  Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in the Kornerstone Chapel with Dr. Kenneth Redmond officiating.  Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. until the service  time.

Gerald loved fishing of any kind but especially surf fishing. He also liked golf and watching football. Gerald was a good friend to many. He cherished his friendships and enjoyed spending time visiting with each of them and telling stories of life. Gerald was dedicated to his church and service to God. He attended Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Midland, Texas.  He served in Navy for over 11 years.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Virgal Pierson and Bobbie Pierson, a sister, Linda Sue Pierson and a daughter, Kelly Jean Pierson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Wanell Pierson, daughters Jerry Lynn Barton (Don Barton) and Laura Jane Crowley (Bill Crowley), stepsons Troy Don Peel (Darci Peel) and Cory Glenn Peel (Susan Peel), 2 brothers, Bobby Irlo Pierson (Chris) and Don Pierson (Nancy), 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren along with a host of other family members.
