She was a loyal wife and devoted mother of two sons: Mikel and wife Sara Harman, Mansfield, Texas, and their children Natalie Gerhardt, Kurt Harman (DDS) and Peter Harman, then son Wayne and wife Leslie Harman, Perryton, Texas, with children Robb and Reed Harman. She was the very, very proud grandmother of five and great-grandmother of four. She was older sister to Joe Boggess, Plato, Missouri and Vinita Yengel, St.Clair, Missouri, Dixie Frank Boggess, Alaska (deceased); and younger sister to Louise Ray, St. Louis, Missouri, and Shirley Armontrout, Tulia Texas, (both deceased). She was born in Claude, Texas, February 18, 1940, and shortly thereafter moved to Tulia, Texas, with her parents Arch and Pearl Boggess, longtime residents of Tulia. She graduated from Tulia High School in 1958 and pursued a job in Lubbock, Texas, where her to-be husband was currently in college at Texas Technological University. After marriage in 1959 and continuing to support the family while her husband graduated from college they moved to Hereford, Texas; then to College Station, Texas; then Stillwater, Oklahoma all the while supporting the family while Wyatte was pursuing advanced degrees. Then they moved to Washington D.C.; then Omaha, Nebraska; and back to Amarillo, Texas. Then they moved to Temple, Texas, where she excelled as a volunteer for the local hospital gift shop. Finally, back to Amarillo, Texas for the retiring golden years. Her long-time passion was reading James Patterson novels, usually at nighttime to relax.

A private burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.
