Glenna Robertson Hopson (Plainview)

Glenna Robertson Hopson, 85, of Plainview passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, February 14, 2025 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 7 P.M. at Kornerstone.

Glenna was born on October 31, 1939 in Plainview, Texas to George and Lela Robertson. She grew up and attended schools in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1958. She then attended Business School for several years. She married Harold Dean Hopson in June of 1961. Glenna worked for Cloverlake Dairy, Coca Cola Plant then Larson International for over 30 years. Glenna’s immediate and extended family was her greatest joy. She captured every cherished memory with her camera. She loved attending her grandkids activities, working in her yard and loved her home. She was an avid Bulldog Fan especially the band. She was a longtime member of College Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by her three daughters, Glenna Butler and husband Kim of Plainview, LaDeanna Whitfill and husband Gene of Plainview, Jo Betsy Morphis and husband Todd of Sanger; one brother, Jerry Robertson of Boise City, OK, one sister, Neta Marble of South Plains; six grandchildren, Craig Gaither and wife Tesha, Rebecca Huddleston and husband Jimmy, Clay Morphis and wife Tiffany, Zachary McPherson and wife Jessica, Keegan Butler and wife Lynnlee, Tori Davis and husband Randy; and 14 great grandchildren.
