Guadalupe C. Peace (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas- Guadalupe C. Peace, 90, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor David Contreras officiating. Graveside services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Guadalupe was born on December 12, 1928 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to Vicente Carrillo and Tomasa Hernandez. Guadalupe worked for the Friona Hospital as a custodian for years and cleaned houses. She also worked at a family restaurant as a cook. Guadalupe loved her son and her grandchildren. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Ursula Carrillo and Juana Carrillo, one brother; Francisco Carrillo.

She is survived by her son; Juan Peace, two grandchildren; Abraham Peace and Lea Peace, five great grandchildren; Lucy and Molly Peace, Jordan, Genesis and Zane Dominguez.
