Ignacia "Chita" De Los Santos (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas--Ignacia "Chita" De Los Santos, 70, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, January 7, 2019 in the Tulia Christian Fellowship Church with Rev. Rusty Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo.

 A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the funeral home

Ignacia was born on June 23, 1948 in Edinberg, Texas to Ladislado and San Juana (Garcia) Garza. Ignacia "Chita" was a hard working lady all her life from the fields, potato sheds and her last job as a housekeeper and nanny for the last 20 plus years.  She always had a strong faith and was always known for saying “just put it in God's hands".  She was truly the strongest lady that we had the privilege to call mom, sister, aunt and granny.  She was loved by everyone she met and she will be missed and never forgotten. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, her infant baby: Cynthia Marie De Los Santos, her late husband: Ramiro Henry De Los Santos, her brother: Rumaldo Hernandez.

She is survived by her children: Yvonne Vonsh & husband Nick of Buckeye, AZ, Zabrina Chavez & husband Pablo of Phoenix, AZ, Ray De Los Santos & wife Monica of Tulia, TX and Crystal Jimenez & husband Daniel of Amarillo, her brothers: Ladislado Garza, Jr, Bernardino Garza, Pedro Garza and Tomas Hernandez, her sisters: Maria Elena Garza, San Juanita De La Garza, Oralia Leal, Esmeralda Solis and Diana Hernandez, nine grandchildren: Ruben Guerrero, Mikel Guerrero, Paul Chavez Jr., Justin Chavez, Marcus Chavez, Chriztian Chavez, Angel Trevizo, Adonica De Los Santos and Alaina De Los Santos and six great grandchildren.
