Ismael "Mike" Munoz Ybarra (Plainview)

Ismael “Mike” Munoz Ybarra, 72 of Plainview passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 11, 2024 in the chapel of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Mr. Ybarra was born on February 18, 1952 in Robstown, Texas to Manuel & Rosa Ybarra. He worked as an Auto Mechanic. Mr. Ybarra loved history, NASCAR and working on cars.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Epifanio Flores.

Mike is survived by two daughters, Eliza Ramos & husband Aaron and Anna Ybarra & spouse Johnny Torres; thirteen siblings, Eliza Rodriguez, Andrea Conejo & husband Albert, Ruben Ybarra, Samuel Ybarra, Esperanza Vaquera, Ernesto Ybarra & wife Alice, Elias Rodriguez, David Ybarra & wife Mary, Bisente Ybarra & wife Delia, Anita Soto & husband Jullian, Manuel Ybarra & wife Sylvia, Raul Ybarra and Roland Flores; seven grandchildren, Danielle Ramos, Vincent Ramos, Jorden Rivas, Mia Rivas, Mykole Rivas & spouse Asia Balboa, Julian Rivas and Peyton Torres; three great grandchildren, Levi Yanez, Zaylah Yanez and Minah Rivas.

Thank you to all of Dad's siblings for loving him unconditionally. Thank you, Mary for all the love and laughter you gave our Dad. And to Rose and Cathy, you always had a special place in Dad's heart. We will miss our funny, loving and kind hearted Dad.
