James Bob”Jim” Curtis, 69, of Plainview passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019. No services are set at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Jim was born October 12, 1949 in Plainview to James Jackson and Lena Bob (Hand) Curtis. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1968. He was a court reporter for the state of Alabama and worked at Missouri beef also. He loved music and was very talented. He is survived by his daughter Hollie Martin and her husband James of Dickinson TX; their three children Jesi Stone of Corpus Christi TX, Hunter Miller and his wife Rocky of Lubbock, Wyatt Marshall and his wife Brittany of League City, TX; son, Chip Curtis of Palestine and his son, Toby Curtis of Aspermont; six grandchildren; his sisters Carolyn Billington of Plainview, Jackie Alexander and her husband Danny and numerous nieces and nephews.
