Jean Douglas Ashton (Plainview)

Jean Douglas Ashton, 93, of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 29, 2020 at Kornerstone Chapel in Plainview. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Jean was born on March 1, 1927 in the small community of Cedar Hill in Floyd County, Texas to Robert and Jimmie Douglas. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur Ashton, her sister Joan Kernell, and her brothers, Embre R. Douglas and Robert Singley Douglas, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory is her sister, Marie Cox of Lubbock and her brother Jimmy Loyd Douglas of Lubbock.
