Jeanean Wood (Plainview)

Jeanean Wood, 59, of Plainview passed away on Sunday, January 28th, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 1, 2024 in the Kornerstone Chapel with Brad Snellgrove officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Jeanean was born on September 25, 1964 in Lockney, Texas to Tommie and Alta Rice. She grew up in Plainview and attended schools there. She was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed going to all their sporting events. She was even known to spoil them on many occasions. They were truly the joy of her life. Jeanean was preceded in death by her father, Tommie Eugene Rice. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband David Wood of Plainview; mother, Alta Rice of Plainview; two daughters, Amber Nichole Martinez of Plainview, Haley Michele Nall of Slaton; one brother, Kirk Rice of Pampa; sister, Jennifer Justice-White of Plainview. She is also survived by her seven grandkids, Kya, Zeth, Eli, Marley, Noa, Zane, and Wyatt.
