Jesse Clifton Driver, “JC” was born into the loving family of HD and Alma Mae Douglas Driver, on November 7, 1939, in Hamilton County, Texas. At JC’s birth, he met his sister, Marie, and brother Herman, better known as “Sonny.” Later Doyle was born and Doyle completed the family nest. These children graduated from Plainview High School. JC and Joy were married in 1964. JC was self-employed for a number of years. Later, moving to Lubbock, Texas where he was employed with Avis until his final retirement. He was a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church, Lubbock, Texas. JC was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Sonny and wife Erna, his sister- in-law Mary D. his sister Marie Atkins and brother-in-law, James Atkins. JC is survived by Joy, his wife , two sons and wives, Jay and Dollie Driver, Jeffrey and Janna Driver, grandchildren, Zachary Ryan Driver, Joy Christine Driver, Michael Thomas Driver and Addison Grace Driver. Step-grandchildren; Ava, Briella, Camila, Andrew, Riley and Tanner. Brother, Doyle Wayne Driver. Special nieces, cousins, Mary Pevehouse and Sondra Loafman, Ruth Heath, Casey Heath, and Florence Carlisle, and a host of wonderful cousins. Special thanks to caretaker, Marcus Weaver. Our heart is filled with gratitude and much appreciation to Hospice of Lubbock, for their loving kindness and tender care. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Plainview Memorial Park. Visitation will be held prior to the graveside at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
