Jim Henry Henderson (Plainview)

Jim Henderson, 93, of Plainview passed away on June 6, 2018. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Northwest Church of Christ with Pat Mannon officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held 6:30 – 8:00 P.M. on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Jim was born December 31, 1924 in Roscoe, Texas to John and Ora (Harris) Henderson. He served in the Army during World War II. He married Erline Lois Marshall on February 17, 1947 in Plainview, Texas. He was a devoted member of Northwest Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his wife, three brothers and five sisters. Survivors include his son, J and Gay Henderson of Plainview, TX; daughter, Susie and Chock Short,Sr. of Baytown, TX; 5 grandchildren, Paul and Leslie Henderson of Plainview, TX, Charles and JoAnne Short of Baytown, TX, Philip and Andrea Henderson of Dallas, TX, Jace and Deidre Henderson of Wheeler, TX, Heather and Kenny Hentges of Baytown, TX; 10 great-grandchildren, Todd, Tysen, Tayton, Logan, Dalton, Trace, Mikayla, Camarie, Breeley and Tori.
