Jimmie Rae Smith, 63, of Plainview passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021. A viewing for her will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 5-8 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview. Jimmie was born on July 10, 1957 in Grants, New Mexico to Jimmy and Josie Griffin. She married Rick Smith in Plainview on June 20, 1975. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Cimmaron Breann Smith and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Rick Smith of Plainview; one daughter Cynnamonn Fletcher and husband David of Mobile, AL; one granddaughter, Alyxandria Fletcher of Mobile, AL; two brothers, Larry Griffin and Billy Griffin; one sister, Terrye Godfrey.
