Jose Louis Salazar, Jr. (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Jose Louis Salazar, Jr., 36, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in Lubbock. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Mr. Johnny McDonald officiating. Graveside services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Jose Louis was born on April 8, 1983 in Tulia to Jose Louis Sr. and Andrea Salazar. He graduated from Tulia High School in 2001. He worked in carpentry, mechanical work and did a lot of farming. When Jose had time for himself he would go fishing. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and he will be remembered as the best uncle in the world. He is preceded in death by his mother; Andrea Salazar. He is survived by his father; Jose Louis Salazar, Sr. of Plainview; three sisters; Candi Jo Martinez of Tulia, Angela Cruz Salazar of Lubbock and Amanda Nicole Salazar of Lubbock and his nieces and nephews.
