June Evelyn Ruland (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—June Ruland, 90, passed away on Saturday April 14, 2018. A Funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Pastor Jackie Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.   A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, April 17, 2018 at the funeral home.   June was born on April 10, 1928 in Carthage, Missouri. She married A.D. Ruland on March 14, 1946 in Tulia, Texas. She was a member of Rotary Club of Tulia, First Baptist Church in Tulia where she volunteered for VBS and Sunday school for many years. She loved being around and getting to love on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.   She is preceded in death both of her parents, her husband A.D.; one brother Junior Buster; one sister, Betty Alexander; one son-in-law, John Herring.   She is survived by two daughters, Jeannett Herring of Tulia and Lora Strother and husband John of Panhandle; three grandchildren, Jonna Brashear of Dallas, Jeremy Herring and wife Kim of Shallowater and Suzanne Strother of Dumas; five great grandchildren, Ava Brashear, Dylan Herring, Brenden Herring, Lillian Brashear and Whitten Herring.   Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Tulia or to a Charity of your choice.
