Kylene Ladell Byrd Miller, 66, of Tulia passed into eternity on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, July 3, 2020 at the J.W. Byrd Home Place at 17001 East FM 285 in Happy, TX. Direction will be by Kornerstone Funeral Directors with Loren Quick, Darren Bryan, Westin Price, and Esther Wahlin officiating. Burial will follow at Wayside Cemetery. Kylene was born on October 20, 1953 in Tulia, Texas to Wylie and Billie Byrd. She graduated from Tulia High School in 1972. Soon after, she met and married Ron Miller on February 2, 1973. She spent all her years in Tulia as a homemaker, friend, wife, and mother. She enjoyed working outside, decorating, keeping the home spotless, and baking the best chocolate chip cookies imaginable. She went out of her way to be kind to everyone she met and has been described as sweet, thoughtful, thankful, and caring. Kylene truly lived for the Lord and it showed in her life and spirit. She lived what she believed. She is survived by her husband Ron and her mother-in-law Grace Miller. Two daughters: Shanda Smith and husband Marcus of Celina, TX and Lesha Coker and husband Brad of Granbury, TX. Also, six grandchildren that she dearly loved: Caden, Colby, & Creed Smith and Trace, Trevin, and Tay Coker. Kylene is also survived by her five siblings who all live in Tulia: Freva Adams, Dan Byrd and wife Pat, Joe Byrd and wife Julie, Wyla Miller and husband Ed, and Dera Rousseau and husband Paul. Also loved by Kylene are numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and their families. She will be greatly missed but our fond memories of her will continue on.
