Laura Beth Davis (Plainview)

Laura Davis, 48, of Plainview passed away on July 6, 2024 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Kornerstone Chapel in Plainview with Guy Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.

Laura was born on June 14, 1976 to Warren and Carol Davis. Laura was very passionate about bowling. She was a member of the Plainview bowling league. Laura's ultimate passion was working with children. She has worked with kids for 30 years. In her 30 years she has touched the hearts of many kids and parents. Every one of them she called "my boy" or "my girl."

Laura is preceded in death by her parents, a niece, both sets of grandparents, and aunts and uncles.

Laura is survived by her son Daniel Borchardt, sister Tonya McClenney and husband Jeff, sister Sherry Jenkins, and brother John Flowers. She also has two nieces Kember Turner and husband Tucker, Mikka Jenkins, nephews Ethan McClenney, Dalton Jenkins, nephew Mathew McClenney, and Mason Jenkins. She also has three great nieces.
