Linda Ive Castellon (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Linda Ive Castellon, 37, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Gonzales and Pastor Isaac Betancourt officiating.  Funeral services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A prayer service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in the Kornerstone Chapel.

Linda was born on January 9, 1985, in Tulia, Texas to Irene Cedillo. She graduated from Tulia High School in 2003. She married Jose Castellon III on May 10, 2011, in Tulia. After her daughter Marybel started school, Linda attended Amarillo College and studied hard to get her LVN and later transitioned to West Texas A&M and received her RN. She was an amazing wife, mother who always attended her children’s school academics and activities. Linda had an amazing talent making crafts with the Cricut Machine. Her breakfast in the mornings were the best, since she was an amazing cook and baker. Linda loved Pioneer Woman and rustic antiques. Anywhere Linda traveled she would collect keychains from different areas around the country. She was a member of the Life in the Word Church. She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed as the beautiful person she was.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Juan Carlos Pacheco.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Castellon III of Tulia; her children, Ariana Renee Castellon and Trenton Maeda of Canyon, Jasiah Manuel Castellon of Tulia and Marybel Cruz Castellon of Tulia; her parents; Irene Cedillo and Jose Cortez of Tulia; her brothers and sisters, Jesus Pacheco and wife Isela of Tulia, Jessica Pacheco and husband Freddie Trevino of Tulia, Delfina Briones and husband Hugo of Tulia, Adela Cedillo and husband Jacob Yarbrough, Crystal Cedillo, Andreina Diaz and husband Johnathan of Tulia, Celeste Cedillo of Amarillo; her in-laws, Joe  and Nancy Gonzales of Tulia and her loving dog, Ted Castellon.

Tulia, Texas—Linda Ive Castellon, de 37 años, falleció el jueves 21 de abril de 2022. Los servicios fúnebres se llevarán a cabo el martes 26 de abril de 2022 a las 2:00 p. m. en la Primera Iglesia Bautista con el pastor Joe Gonzales y el pastor Isaac Betancourt oficiando. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Rose Hill bajo el cuidado de Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio de oración el lunes 25 de abril de 2022, de 5:30 p. m. a 7:30 p. m. en la Capilla Kornerstone.

Linda nació el 9 de enero de 1985 en Tulia, Texas de Irene Cedillo. Se graduó de la preparatoria Tulia en el 2003. Se casó con José Castellón III el 10 de mayo del 2011 en Tulia. Después de que su hija Marybel comenzara la escuela, Linda asistió a Amarillo College y estudió mucho para obtener su LVN y luego hizo la transición a West Texas A&M y recibió su RN. Fue una esposa increíble, una madre que siempre asistía a los estudios y actividades escolares de sus hijos. Linda tenía un talento increíble para hacer manualidades con la máquina Cricut. Su desayuno en las mañanas era el mejor, ya que ella era una cocinera y panadera increíble. Linda amaba a Pioneer Woman y las antigüedades rústicas. Dondequiera que Linda viajara, recolectaría llaveros de diferentes áreas del país. Era miembro de la Iglesia Vida en la Palabra. Todos la amaban y la extrañaremos mucho como la hermosa persona que era.

Le precedieron en la muerte su hermano, Juan Carlos Pacheco.

Le sobreviven su esposo, José Castellón III de Tulia; sus hijos, Ariana Renee Castellon y Trenton Maeda de Canyon, Jasiah Manuel Castellon de Tulia y Marybel Cruz Castellon de Tulia; sus padres; Irene Cedillo y José Cortez de Tulia; sus hermanos y hermanas, Jesus Pacheco y esposa Isela de Tulia, Jessica Pacheco y esposo Freddie Trevino de Tulia, Delfina Briones y esposo Hugo de Tulia, Adela Cedillo y esposo Jacob Yarbrough, Crystal Cedillo, Andreina Diaz y esposo Johnathan de Tulia, Celeste Cedillo de Amarillo; sus suegros, Joe y Nancy Gonzales de Tulia y su amado perro, Ted Castellon.
