Linzy Joe Barton, Jr. (Plainview)

Linzy Joe Barton, Jr, 61, of Plainview passed away in the loving arms of his beloved daughter, Lindsay Leigh on May 30, 2018 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 1, 2018 at Kornerstone Chapel with Delphin Ruiz, of Central Church of Christ in Tulia officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Linzy was born September 27, 1956 in Plainview, Texas to Marcia and Linzy Joe Barton, Sr. He loved all kinds of sports, especially golf and spoiling his pride and joy “Cam Jam”. Linzy enjoyed sitting on the back porch with Clarence his dog listening to music. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and a sister, Teresa Barton. Survivors include his daughter, Lindsay Leigh Nicole Oliver and husband Michael of Cypress, TX; his loving girlfriend Martha Garcia; one grandson Camron Oliver, two sisters, Linda Watson and husband Richard of Plainview, Janet Burleson and husband Greg of Weatherford, TX; many nieces and nephews and many friends and family.
