Lloyd Singer (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Lloyd Singer, 69, died on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, August 16, 2021, in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dimmitt.

Lloyd was born on March 13, 1952, in Dimmitt to Robert A. and Mary Lee Singer. He grew up in Dimmitt until his family moved to Tulia in 1966. He graduated Tulia High School in 1970. Lloyd started working at Huxford’s Dept. Store at the age of 16 but after a few months his father needed him at the family business, Tulia Cable Television Company where he continued to work for several years

until the business was sold. Lloyd was a member of First Baptist Church in Tulia.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Mary Lee Singer, his sister; Doris Singer and his brother; Bob Singer.

He is survived by his loving girlfriend: Barbara Stallings of Tulia, his sister: Alexandra Nagy of Rockwall, his nephew: Stephen Nagy and wife Nicole of Rockwall, his two nieces; Robin Hope-McCleery and husband Dana of Rockwall and Ramie Singer of Austin and eight great nieces and nephews. Also survived by his dogs, "Lola" and "Mickey".
