She had many hobbies including sewing, crocheting, and making clothes for herself and other family members. She also loved bowling, cooking, and baking. The holidays were special to her. She always went overboard for the holidays with decorations. She spent days decorating, cooking, and baking. She loved Christmas and was recognized for her extensive display by the Plainview Daily Herald. She enjoyed going to watch the Professional Bull Riders with her late husband.
