Loretta Jane Haney, 84 passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 11, 2022 in the Kornerstone Chapel. Jane was born December 17, 1937 in Wagoner, Oklahoma to Calvin & Helen Wassom. She was one of five children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Alan Wassom; her sister Susie and former husband Charles. Jane spent her later life in the retail business working at Raines Grocery, Friends and many years at K-Mart. She really enjoyed working her various jobs, but her greatest joy was her children. You could always hear her talking about her five boys and only daughter. This brought great joy to her especially the stories she would tell about raising six children that were all only a year apart. She always loved being around family and friends and always looking for the good in people. Jane enjoyed her time living at Lake Tawakone spending time with good friends Linda & Janet. She enjoyed their pizza times together. Special thanks to Linda & Janet for caring for our Mother in her later years and showing what true friends are. Jane is survived by two siblings; her brother, Doyle Wassom of Albuquerque, NM; her sister, Christine Johnston of Lubbock, TX; six children, Charley Haney & wife Joye of Plainview, TX, Johnny Haney of Bremen AL, Jerry Haney & wife Jody of Plainview, TX, Jimmy Haney & wife Beverly of Plainview, TX, Jeannie Strain & husband Butch of Kress, TX and James Haney and wife Sherry of Emory, TX; sixteen grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.
