Tulia, Texas – Lowell K Buxton, 88 passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 in Tulia. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia, Texas. Lowell was born on July 29, 1933 in Vici Oklahoma to Walter and Bertha (Derrick) Buxton. He Graduated from Perryton High School. After graduation he worked as a rancher until going into the Untied States Army and was honorably discharged. He married the love of his life Dorothy Ann Gruette on January 26, 1957 and raised three wonderful boys. Lowell worked as the Foreman on the Cooper/True Ranch near San Jon NM for 23 years, after retiring from here. Lowell started his Landscaping business out of Sapello NM. Until moving to Midway NM and running his own ranch. He was Baptized on June 26, 1960 as a dedicated Jehovah’s witness. Lowell was an Elder for several years, then continued to serve Jehovah until he passed. Lowell was very dedicated and very spiritual to the end, He always brought glory to Jehovah. Lowell is preceded in death by his parents, his son Joe Anson Buxton, grandson Darrel , His siblings Jack , Dale, Hobart, Nadine, Bernadine and Maxine. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Buxton, his sons, Donald Vern Buxton, and Mike Zahn Buxton: his brothers, Calvin and Jerry Buxton, his sister, Shirly Ann Stone, 5 Grandchildren Keith, Tonya, Wendy, Logan and Chance Buxton. 16 Great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held January 15, 2022 in Amarillo at Holiday Inn West. From 12 noon to 4 pm. Eulogy will be given by Long time friend and Brother Tim Schnieder, from Pecos NM.
