Lynda Ann Long (Plainview)

Lynda Ann Long, 63, passed away on January 10, 2019. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Jeremy Gilbert officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas. Mrs. Long was born on August 17, 1955 in Erick, Oklahoma. She worked as a C.N.A. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Scroggins and a brother-in-law, Danny Stoker. She is survived by four daughters, Christie Searcy, Dondi Long, Deidra Newberry and Deandra Long; her father, Bill & Rozlyn Cookston; her mother, Shirley Cookston; one brother, Joe Cookston; one sister, Sue Stoker; one nephew, Eric Ward and four grandchildren, Joseph Ambrose, Emily Ambrose, Joshua Long and Madison Newberry. The family suggests memorials to the Calvary Baptist Church, 1613 W. 24th, Plainview, TX 79072 or Charity of your choice.
