Vigo Park, Texas—Lyndia Faye “Sis” Culifer, 72, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, March 12, 2018 in the Tulia Christian Fellowship Church with Mr. Paul George and Rev. Rusty Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Vigo Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Sis was born on July 6, 1945 in Plainview to Odie and Tillie Richardson. She lived her whole life at Vigo Park. She graduated from Tulia High School. She attended a business college in Dallas. She married Lendell Culifer on March 18, 1967. They worked for B. Raymond Evans for 20 years running the cattle operation on the farm. They later became cattle buyers. She worked at the Tulia Livestock Auction for several years. She was a member of the Vigo Park Community Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her step-mom: Inez Richardson and a niece: Fara Moore. She is survived by her daughter: Monica Jo Culifer of Tulia, her sister: Ann Moore and husband Gary of Vigo Park and a granddaughter: Lyndsi Jolee Espinoza of Tulia, 15 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
