Tulia, Texas—Horace Lynn Nolen, 52, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 in Tulia. Cremation services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. No funeral services are planned at this time. Lynn was born on January 25, 1965 in Randall Co, Texas to Raymond and Gwendolyn Nolen. He grew up in Tulia and attended Tulia schools. Lynn was a simple man. He liked old country music, brand-new pickup trucks, a sharp pocket knife and a cold drink. It was hard to find him in something other than cowboy boots and starched blue jeans with a dip in his mouth. He was loyal and protective to a fault. You couldn't talk to him without being reminded that he was cowboy through and through. He is preceded in death by a son: Cary Brandon Nolen, a sister Beverly Ann Staggs and his father: Raymond Horace Nolen.
