Manuel G. Garcia (Plainview)

Manuel G. Garcia, 84, of Plainview, Texas passed away Friday September 30, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Kornerstone funeral Directors Chapel with Eric Flores officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held Wednesday October 5, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

Manuel G. Garcia was born on June 27, 1938 in Jewett, Texas to Jose and Cleofas Garcia.

He is survived by Elena Saenz of Plainview: children, Gilbert Garcia of Plainview, Texas, Juanita LaFuente and husband Richard of Plainview, Texas, Larry Garcia and wife Odelia Garcia of Plainview, Texas, Diana Garcia of Plainview, Texas. Christopher Garcia of Lubbock, Texas; his brother, Luis Garcia of Waco, Texas; his sisters, Jymmye Tabor of Houston, Texas, Juanita Barnhart of LaBelle, Florida, Cody Perez of Brownsville, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Cleofas Garcia; one daughter, Angelica Garcia; three brothers, Frank Garcia, Philip Garcia, Joe Garcia; two sisters, Mary Garcia and Jay Hurtado.
