Marjorie Bearden (Plainview)

Marjorie Dell Bearden, 99, resident of Plainview Health Care died on Friday, February 15, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Kornerstone Chapel. Interment will be in Dalhart Cemetery 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 22, 2019 under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. 

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 18, 2019 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

Marjorie was born on August 9, 1919 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Glenford and Bertha (Elliott) Swigert. Mrs. Bearden married John B. Bearden on March 26, 1938 in Ft. Sumner, NM.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband and one grandchild.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Juanita Bearden of Plainview; her son Robert Kent Bearden and wife Glenda of Plainview; her grandchildren, Norman Ray Bearden of Lubbock and LaQueta White and husband Ronnie of Plainview; her great grandchildren, Ryan Lee and Staci White of Lubbock, Eric John Bearden and Julie of Lubbock, Galen Cy and Hanna Bearden of Amarillo and their mother Sheila Bearden; nieces Kay Stout and Carol Edwards and husband Lou of Washington; nephews, Jim Stout and wife Susan of Alaska and David Swigert and wife Mary of Arizona.
