Tulia, Texas—Martin Basaldua, Jr, 20, died Wednesday, April 15, 2020 in Tulia. A private graveside will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Martin was born on December 17, 1999 in Plainview. He grew up in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School.

He is preceded in death by his father: Martin Basaldua, Sr., his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandfather.

He is survived by his mother: Anna Saldana of Tulia, his brothers: Steven Basaldua of Killeen and Diego Martinez of Tulia, his sisters: Ariel Martinez of Tulia and Emily Martinez of Tulia and his maternal grandmother: Alice Saldana of Tulia.
