Mary Rangel (Plainview)

Mary Rangel, 72, of Plainview passed away on June 16, 2022 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A rosary will be held on at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Kornerstone Chapel.

Mary was born on August 21, 1949 to Guadalupe Sr. and Antonia Rangel. She grew up in Plainview and she participated in the Special Olympics for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart. She loved to bowl, dance, party, drinking cokes and have family time. She helped raise her nieces and nephews.

 Mary is preceded in death by her parents; Guadalupe Sr. and Antonia Rangel; one brother, Guadalupe Rangel Jr. and one sister, Maggie Torres.

Mary is survived by two sisters, Teresa Garcia and Celia Arellano; one brother, Carlos Rangel and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
