Olivia Aviles (Plainview)

Olivia Aviles, 68, of Plainview passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Floydada Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Rosary service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, December 5, 2022 at the funeral home. Olivia was born on January 26, 1954 to Cristoval & Anita (Hernandez) Aviles in Batesville, Texas. She retired from Cargill after 39 years of service. She knew more about football than most men and was the Biggest Dallas Cowboys fan. She is preceded in death by her parents. Olivia is survived by two daughters, Monica Soliz & husband Richard of Yukon, Ok and Jessica Monkres & husband Hurtis of Plainview; one son, Marco Ramirez of Plainview; two brothers, Joe Aviles of Plainview and Gene Aviles of California; niece & nephew she raised as her own, Betty Aviles and Henry Gonzalez; two step daughters, Rosie Rosales and Toni Walker of Tulia; two step sons, Bibo Ramirez and Eric Ramirez of Tulia; five grandchildren, Jessi J’Lynn, J’Ryn Manuel, Olivia Danielle, Caiden James and Carson Anthony; two great grandchildren, Jaliyah Jo’Lee and J’Vyn Manuel and several step grandchildren including Avery & Madalyn and several step- great grandchildren.
