Oscar Vela (Plainview)

Oscar Vela, 56, of Arlington passed away on December 22, 2019.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 27, 2019 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Oscar was born on July 20, 1963 in Raymondville, Texas to Juan and Anita Vela.  He grew up and attended schools in Plainview. Survivors include his daughter, Meghan Vela; Four sons, Oscar Vela, Jr., Jacob Vela, Ray Vela, Kyle Vela; his father, Juan Vela three brothers, Ruben Vela, Eddie Vela, Hector Vela; five sisters, Janie Garcia, Minerva Vasquez, Liz Salas, Dalia Vela, Frances Vela; and Five grandchildren.
