Pam Gamble (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas--Pam Gamble, 73, of Kress, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019 in Lubbock. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Oscar Chavez, officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Pam was born on June 25, 1946 in Amarillo to Blackie and Evelyn (McKendree) Waters. She graduated from Silverton High School and later married Adron Gamble on December 14, 1966 in Silverton, TX. Pam loved to read books and could read multiple books at the same time. She was known as “Grammy” by her grandchildren and “Pam” by her friends and family. She loved drinking coffee and her laugh was contagious. Pam had the biggest sense of humor.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her infant son; Colin Wade Gamble, her daughter; Kerri DeGraff, two brothers; Joe Waters and Garner Lee Waters and one sister; Gayle Waters.

She is survived by her four grandchildren; Demetria DeGraff, Sebastian DeGraff, Tristan DeGraff and Kierston DeGraff, one great granddaughter; Winter DeGraff, one daughter: Loredda Snapp and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Tulia Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 116, Tulia, TX 79088.
