Pauline Alvarez (Plainview)

Pauline Alvarez, 79, of Kress passed away on July 19, 2018. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 23, 2018 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Kress. Interment will be in Kress Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary will be held 6:00 P.M. Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the church. She was born January 25, 1939 in Wharton, Texas to Pedro and Antonio (Cavazos) Quintanilla. She married Santos Alvarez in Plainview, Texas. He died in 2014. She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Leal and husband Robert of Plainview, Lisa Alvarez of Amarillo; two brothers, Victor Quintanilla and wife Angie of Dumas, Domingo Quintanilla and wife Carmen of Plainview; four sisters, Maria Munoz and husband Jesse of Kress, Antonia Hernandez and husband Jesus of Woodrow, Janie Longoria and husband Fred of Kress, Rosa Rodriguez of Plainview; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
