Ramon Saldana (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Ramon Saldana, 50, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Church of the Holy Spirit with Father David Contreras officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.   A rosary will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.   Ramon was born on August 5, 1967 in Tulia to Federico Sr. and Adelina Gomez Saldana. He graduated from Tulia High School and after graduation he attended Amarillo College. He worked in Amarillo at Maywood Door Company for 10 years and also worked for Owens Corning for 6 years. He loved to go fishing and hunting but most of all spending time with his grandson.   He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother: John David Saldana.   He is survived by his two daughters: Danielle Lawrence and Michelle Saldana, one son: Ryan Saldana, his brothers and sisters: Fred Saldana, Jr., Gloria A.
