Randy Grantham (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Randy Grantham 68, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in Tulia. A memorial service will he held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Chaplain Gabe Moudy officiating. A visitation will be held at 1:00 PM prior to the service on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the funeral home.  Cremation services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Randy was born on January 4, 1953 to Donald Lee and Clydell (Carter) Grantham in Tulia. He graduated from Dumas High School. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and achieved the distinctive honor of being an Honor Student in the Systems Operations Branch and was a member of the Aerospace Team. Randy worked for the Farm Bureau Insurance Co. for many years all throughout Texas. He married the love of his life Vickie Everett on April 17, 1975 in Abernathy. Randy and his father Donald Grantham ran the Grantham Insurance Agency for several years in Tulia. Randy worked for the TDCJ in the Tulia and Clements unit for eighteen years. He will be remembered by his excellent storytelling, barbequing with the family, helping coach youth baseball, and was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved his family and grandchildren, and he had the heart to help anyone at any time.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Jamie Dawn Grantham.

He is survived by his wife; Vickie Grantham of Tulia, one daughter; Casie Grantham of Canyon, one son; Ryan Grantham of Amarillo, one brother; Kelley Grantham of Lubbock, one sister; Carol Priddy of Happy and five grandchildren; Keaton Lien, Kyle Lien, Sydney Lien, Emma Grantham, and Addison Grantham.
