Randy Warrick (Plainview)

Randy Gene Warrick, 71, of Plainview passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024.  A viewing and visitation will be held this coming Tuesday evening, March 26, 2024 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Kornerstone.  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the Plainview First Assembly with Pastor Nelson Gonzalez officiating.  Private family burial will be  following the memorial service.  Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Randy was born July 13, 1952, in Plainview, Texas, to John and Carolyn Warrick. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1970 and attended college at Oral Roberts University. On Sept. 30, 1972, he married Gretta Carolyn Steveson in Levelland, Texas. He owned and/or operated various businesses in Plainview before moving to Sierra Vista, Ariz., in 1993. He returned to Plainview in 2000. He became a member of Plainview First Assembly in 2002 where he currently served faithfully. After Gretta’s passing in 2011, Randy reunited with a childhood sweetheart and fell in love all over again. On April 22, 2017, he married Mary Ann Chandler in Plano, Texas. He was an incredible man, giving of himself at every opportunity that God led him to. Randy was a leader, father, and mentor to everyone he encountered. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Randy was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Gretta Warrick and his father, John Warrick.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Chandler Warrick of Plainview; his children, Kacy Self and husband Clay of Hillsboro, Ohio, Peter Warrick and wife Santana of Amarillo, Emily Robinson and husband Jeremy of Riviera, Texas, Brenda Keener of Wharton, Texas; sister, Ginger Dean and husband Randy of Forrest, Wisconsin; mother, Carolyn Warrick of Plainview; grandchildren, Remington and Ruger Read, Sylven, Lakin, and Paxton Warrick  Jayden Robinson, Kieryn Warrick, Bailey Robinson, Jordyn Robinson, Sara Robinson, Ryan Keener, Kylie Forte; Mary Ann's children, Jayson Chandler and wife Bev of Tyler, Darla Page and husband Jerrod of Plano; and Mary Ann's grandchildren, Machaela Reagan and husband James, Hannah Mendoza and husband Ceasar, Ben Page, Jacob Page, Taylor Burlerson, Natilie Parrish and husband Nick; and one great grandbaby on the way.
