Roel Guerrero Jr. (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Roel Guerrero, Jr., 28, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in Lubbock. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 22, 2018 in the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with Father David Contreras officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Roel was born on November 10, 1989 in Lockney, Texas to Roel Guerrero and Virginia Naranjo. He graduated from Tulia High School in 2008. Roel worked for John Herring since he was 15 years old and was always working in farming. He was actively involved with his sons activities and coached for the Seminoles youth football team. He would like to laugh and joke with everyone. Roel was a protector for his family and had a soft heart and walked with a big smile. He will be remembered and be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his brother: Reynaldo Guerrero, his grandparents: Elisandro and Benita Naranjo, his cousin: Michelle Guerrero.

He is survived by his wife: Loreen Muniz of Tulia, his father: Roel Guerrero and Antonia Chagoya of Nazareth, his mother: Virginia Naranjo of Tulia, his daughter: Jazlynn Guerrero of Tulia, his step-daughter: Kenslee Muniz of Tulia, his son: Jayden Guerrero of Tulia, his step-son: Zavrian Muniz of Tulia, two brothers: Roman Guerrero of Amarillo and Ruben Guerrero of Tulia, one sister: Venessa Guerrero of Tulia, his grandparents: Roman and Ofelia Guerrero of Lockney.
