Ronald Harvey Lacey (Tulia)

Ronald Harvey Lacey, 90, passed away on March 15, 2025, in Plainview, Texas. Services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. 

Born on July 26, 1934, in Vernon, Texas, Ronald grew up in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School in 1952. Following his education, he served his country in the United States Army.

After his military service, Ronald dedicated 38 years of his career to Swisher Electric Cooperative in Tulia.

Ronald is survived by his children: daughter Joan of Tulia; son Dane and his wife Kelsey of North Richland Hills, Texas; son Todd and his wife Julee of North Richland Hills, Texas; and daughter Page and her husband Tommy Heisser of Lubbock, Texas. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, of whom he was incredibly proud, and two great-grandchildren. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey Harvey Lacey and Angeline OmaRuth Lacey, and sons Mark and Paul, as well as his brothers Forrest and Ed.

A memorial and visitation will be held at a later date.

 Ronald’s memory will live on through the lives he touched in his kind and humble way. According to his wishes, donations in his memory can be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, at stjude.org .
