Ronald Dean Love (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— Ronald Dean Love passed from this earth to his eternal home on July 12, 2023. Ron was born on October 9, 1943, in Tulia to O.J. and Frona Love. He was a life-long resident of Tulia and Swisher County.

Ron attended Tulia schools and graduated from THS in 1962. He was involved in several family businesses after graduation and was a master builder. He took much pride in his cabinetry and woodworking. He had a passion for children and sports and helped with youth sports throughout his life at Tulia schools and community sporting events. Ron hurt his arm several years ago and during rehab, he became interested in computers. He serviced and repaired computers for hundreds of area residents. The saying went around - Oh, you need help with your computer, just call Ron Love. Ron loved fishing. It was his favorite hobby and pastime. He also loved watching golf on television, cooking, and gardening.

On March 9, 1964, Ron married the love of his life, Jane Hon. Ron and Jane had two children, Cash and Lindsey. He is also survived by his three grandchildren Cashawn and wife, Cheyenne, Amethyst, and Ripley, two great grandchildren, Cash and Case, his sister, Sherry Merriman and husband, Danny, two sisters-in-law, Judy Harman and husband, Rickey, Jackie Hon, and a brother-in-law, Jay Hon and wife, Dianne.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Casey Simpson.

There will be a private family burial and memorial service at a later date.
