Rosa Martinez, 69, of Plainview passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Kornerstone Chapel. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 30, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Kornerstone.

Rosa was born on October 28, 1952 in Brownsville, Texas to Manuel and Fidela Camacho. She married Abraham Martinez Jr. on January 2, 1973. She loved and cherished her kids and grandkids. She loved being at McDonalds with her husband. Her many passions included planting flowers in her garden and listening to Christian music. She was a quiet person with a tremendously big heart. She dedicated her life to taking care of her siblings and her kids.

Rosa is preceded in death by her parents; Manuel and Fidela Camacho; her daughter, Vicky Martinez; five brothers, Eberardo Ramos, Manuel Ramos, Raymond Ramos, Jose Ramos and Martin Ramos; one sister, Esther Montez.

Rosa is survived by her husband Abraham Martinez Jr; her daughter, Elizabeth Vega and husband Eddie of San Angelo; three sons, Eddie Martinez and wife Rebecca of Plainview, Abraham Martinez of Plainview and Eberardo Martinez and wife Deanne of San Angelo; eleven grandchildren, Noah Alvarado, Marisa Vega, Alyssa Vega, Mia Vega, Joe Vega, Heaven Martinez,  Jazmin Martinez, Zoe Martinez, Nolan Martinez, Jayden Wilson and Cameron Wilson;  five brothers, Vidal Ramos and wife Mary of Amarillo, Ambrosia Ramos and wife Lydia of Amarillo, Fidel Ramos of Plainview, Ralph Ramos of Rock Springs and Angel Ramos of Lubbock; six sisters, Ermalinda Arredondo of Plainview, Flora Ortiz and husband Jose of Port O’Conner, MN, Rita Tonche of Borger, Texas, Sylvia Padilla of Lubbock and Clara Padilla of Minnesota; One brother in law, Hector Montez; two sisters in law, Mary Lovington Ramos of Plainview, Texas and Mary Ramos of Amarillo, Texas.
