Rose Ann Bailey (Plainview)

Rose Ann Bailey, 87, of Plainview passed away on August 21, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 29, 2024 at First Baptist Church Chapel in Plainview with Ronnie Brumley officiating and assisted by Donnie Brumley. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors from 6 to 8 P.M.

Rose Ann Bailey was born on April 4, 1937, in Clarendon, Texas, to James and Rosada Duckett. Rose dedicated many years of her life as an office manager to Farmland in Amarillo, Texas. She married Curtis D. Bailey in 1982 in Amarillo. She had a passion for music and was an active member of the church choir at First Baptist Church. In her spare time, Rose Ann found joy in volunteering as a Pink Lady for 23 years at the local hospital. She also participated in estate sales, shopping, crafting, and painting. She cherished moments spent with her grandchildren and took great pride in cooking for her family. Rose's resilience and independence shone through as she single handedly raised three boys. Rose Ann's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Curtis D. Bailey; son, Tim Brumley; sister, Donna Moore; and brother, Kenneth Duckett.

Rose is survived by her twin sons Ronnie Brumley and wife Janet, Donnie Brumley and wife Diana; daughter-in-law, Sandy Brumley; grandchildren, Mallory Williams and husband Aaron, Camille Boring and husband Garrett, Anna Brumley, J.J. Brumley and wife Johnna, and Jordan Hayes, Christina Andes and husband Justin, Rachel Finnell and husband Rob, Stephen Barcelo, Brent McCarter and spouse Brandon; great grandchildren, Matthew West Williams, Beckham Williams, Noah Williams, Nolan Boring, Elena Mae Boring, Kingston Brumley, Brooklynn Brumley, Maddox Brumley, Georgia Brumley, Henley Hayes, and Hollyn Hayes, Brennon Finnell, Aubrey Finnell, Kyndall Barcelo, Kallie Barcelo, Harper Andes; sister-in-law, Cleta Duckett; brother-in-law, Lyndel Moore.  Rose is also survived by Curtis's family; sons, Cliff Bailey, Curt Bailey and wife Robyn, Craig Bailey and wife Patty; daughter, Brenda Favreau; grandchildren, Jason and Laura Bailey, Faith Mullins, Steve and Amanda Favreau, Samantha and Cody Daffern, Nic Bailey, Jentry and Steven Pruitt, Brittany Kelly, Jessica and Peggy Bailey, Justin and Stephanie Bailey, Jaci Bailey, Erin Geiser; 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
