Rosetta McCoy Williams (Plainview)

Rosetta McCoy Williams, 80, of Kress passed away on November 30, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview.  Burial will follow in Kress Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A viewing and visitation will be held on Friday evening at Kornerstone from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Rosetta was born on November 7, 1942 in Washington, Arkansas and grew up there.  She married Hubert Lee Williams on July 7, 1960 in Greenville, Texas.  They moved to Kress and Rosetta was a homemaker while Hubert farmed for many years. 

Rosetta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hubert Williams; two sons, Wayne Williams and Michael Williams; and her siblings.

Survivors include her four children, Loretta Sheppard of Lubbock, Lisa Ellis and husband Milton of Kress, Morris Williams of Kress, Clifford Williams and wife Mary of Plainview; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by two daughters-in-law, Donna Williams of Amarillo and Patricia Williams of Plainview; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
