Ruby Rieff Teeter 92, died Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Little Rock AR. A visitation will be held on from 4:00 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Hale Center, Texas. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 4:30 P.M. at First Baptist Church in Hale Center, Texas with Jeff Langley officiating. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 28, 2024 in Congo Road Baptist Church in Benton, AR (7193 Congo Road, Benton, AR). Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview, Texas.
Mrs. Teeter was born on February 29, 1932 in West Fork, AR to Garland Henry Rieff and Sylvia Ann Woods Rieff. Mrs. Teeter was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, two brothers, and six sisters.
Ruby graduated from Hale Center High School in 1950. She married the love of her life Wille Ray Teeter that same year on July 14 in Hale Center, Texas. Willie passed away on July 6, 2005 in Benton, AR. They were married for almost fifty-five years. Willie was a farmer and she was an excellent homemaker that made sure after a long day he had something sweet like pie at the end of every meal. Ruby was a devoted wife, mother and Nana, dedicated Sunday School teacher at FBC Plainview & Hale Center, and student of the Word. She loved memorizing scripture and teaching women of all ages about Jesus. Ruby was a talented oil painter and singer. She found a friend in Bernard Barber, Benton, AR and married him in 2007 until his death in 2021.
Survivors include a son Stanley Ray Teeter of Bryant, AR, daughter Vicki Lynn Langley and husband Jeff of Bryant, AR. Three grandchildren: Brian Scott Teeter and wife Haley of Bryant, AR, Jeffrey Adam Langley and wife Githa of Wichita Falls, TX, and Sarah Ann Langley of Little Rock, AR. Five great-grandchildren: Preston, Peyton, Piper, and Pryce Teeter and Brynn Langley.
The family suggest that memorials be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering either at your own church or sent to:
