Russell Johnson (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Russell Johnson, 52, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, December 28, 2018 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Rusty Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Russell was born on October 9, 1966 in Tulia to Autry Lee and Inette Johnson. He grew up here and graduated from Tulia High School in 1986. He farmed all his life and also worked for CHS in Kress as a salesman. He attended Tulia Christian Fellowship Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his two sisters: Vickie Norrell and husband Gerry of Floydada and Pattie Urbanczyk and husband Brian of Hereford and several nieces and nephews
