San Juanita Amaya (Plainview)

San Juanita Amaya, 70, of Plainview passed away on Sunday September 26, 2021. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 2, 2021. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A rosary will be held 6:00 P.M. Friday, October 1, 2021 at the funeral home.

San Juanita was born June 6, 1951 to Jose and Marta Garcia.

She is preceded in death by three sons and her parents, Jose and Marta Garcia; two brothers Ruperto Garcia, Victor Garcia; one sister, Ramona Rodriguez; one brother-in-law Fred Rodriguez and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is survived by her husband, Fidel Amaya; two daughters, Cecilia Amaya, Francis Amaya both of Hale Center; one brother, Ruben and wife Leslie Garcia of Red Oak and one sister Ofelia and husband Tomas Armendarez of Krugerville.
