Sharon Lemoine Watson (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Sharon Lemoine Watson, 73, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 30, 2021, in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Sharon was born on February 20, 1948, in Plainview to Joseph Earl and Frances Larue Traylor Lemoine. She lived in Kress and graduated from Kress High School in 1966. She married Ronald “Skipper” Watson on February 7, 1967, in Kress. They moved to Tulia in 1972.  She was a homemaker, a member of Central Church of Christ. She worked for the Swisher County Library for several years and for TDCJ Tulia Unit for 14 years before she retired.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother: Jimmie Lemoine.

She is survived by her children: Chris Watson of Tulia, Keisha Ashley and husband Sheldon of Matador and J.D. Watson and wife Amanda of Tulia, one sister: Vikki Bradshaw of Lubbock, six grandchildren: Colby Ashley and wife Renee of McAdoo, Tamra Ashley  and fiancé Joe John Baeza of Matador, Colton Ashley and fiancé Catherine Gray of Lockney, Peyton Watson of Tulia, Presleigh Watson of Tulia and Paxton Watson of Tulia and seven great grandchildren.
