Tulia, Texas—Steven Jobe, 63, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018 in Amarillo. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 4:00 pm in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Mr. Jackie Etheridge and Deacon Bob Birkenfeld officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Steven was born on April 3, 1955 in Tulia to Lonnie and Anita Jobe. He grew up in Tulia and was a jack of all trades. He spent much of his life driving trucks, working on farms and ranches. He especially loved his time at the Cogdell Ranch. Steven had a love for the outdoors, Harleys and shooting guns. He also enjoyed taking his dogs Molly, Max and Sweet Pea to Mackenzie Lake to swim. Uncle Steven loved spending time with his many nieces and nephews, Johnny Gayler, Cameron Nobile, Hailey Barber, Stanton Wethington, Chris Williams, Tanya Ethridge, Carie Crow, Devin, Ross and Case Keeter, Erica Barnes, April Light and Jason Bell and all their children. He enjoyed watching his nephews play baseball. He will be remembered for his love of laughter and having a good time. Big hugs and big heart that was Steven. He is preceded in death by his father; Lonnie Jobe, two brothers in law; Johnny Gayler and David Nobile. He is survived by his mother; Anita Jobe, one brother; Allen Jobe & wife Bonnie of Amarillo, two sisters; Teresa Wethington & husband Tommy of Nazareth and Velaunda Keeter & husband Jerry of Canyon, 12 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
