Teresa R. Perez (Plainview)

Teresa R. Perez, 90, of Lubbock passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, May 6, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Teresa was born on April 8, 1930 to Eusebio and Francisca Ramos in San Benito , Texas. She married Jesse Perez on November 7, 1948 in Greeley, Colorado. She was a homemaker. Teresa was a very faithful Christian woman and loved to sing. She had a very large family but never complained about anything. She was a very talented seamstress and had a tremendous green thumb. She loved spending time outside growing and tending to her flowers and plants. Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Perez; her parents, Eusebio and Francisca Ramos; daughter, Elizabeth Luna; five brothers and two sisters. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heather Reynolds, a grandson Mark Muniz, and a son-in-law, Rudy Castillo. Survivors include five daughters, Efren Consalvi and husband Sam of Alamogordo, NM, Frances Muniz and husband Floyd of Amarillo, Lucy Liscano and husband Frank of Lubbock, Josie Pena of Alamogordo, NM, Mary Castillo of Lubbock; two sons, Jesse Perez, Jr. and wife Debbie of Suisun City, CA, Danny Perez and wife Sharon of Amarillo; son-in-law, Roy Luna of The Colony; one brother, Tony Ramos of Apple Valley, CA; 24 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
