Ticen Lynn Nixon (Plainview)

Ticen Lynn Nixon was born May 31, 1958 to Stanley and Junelle Nixon in Crosbyton, TX. Ticen passed away on September 19, 2022 in Lubbock, TX. Ticen was a loving and wonderful Christian husband and father. Early in life, Ticen was introduced to the Christian faith. Once entering adulthood, he began the noble virtuous lifelong journey of repenting of sin and seeking truth revealed in His savior Jesus Christ. Throughout his life, Ticen faithfully served multiple area churches in various roles of leadership and servanthood. He sought to intimately know his savior through daily prayer and reading of Holy scripture. He confessed his savior frequently by sharing the truth of the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ with everyone he encountered. A family service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sandra Reed Nixon of Plainview, TX; His two sons, Ty Reed Nixon and wife Teresa of Evansville, IN, Tad Reed Nixon of Plainview, TX; Brother, Randy Nixon and wife Geneva of Camden, AR; father, Stanley Dwayne Nixon of Tow, TX; granchildren, Flint Holden Nixon of Evansville, IN; Elandra Jane Nixon of Evansville, IN; Milo Everett Nixon of Evansville, IN; Adalee Junelle Nixon of Evansville, IN; and Clover Faye Nixon of Evansville, IN. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Nancy Junelle Nixon.
