Trell Meadows Celebration of Life Livestream Billie Futrell "Trell" Meadows, born on January 5, 1935, in Ontario, California, peacefully gained her wings in the kingdom of heaven on January 10, 2024, at the age of 89. She leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and community. Funeral services for Trell will be held at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 1:00pm, with burial to follow at Petersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Trell's journey through life was marked by significant milestones and cherished moments. She graduated from Petersburg High School in 1952 and, on June 20, 1952, she entered into a loving union with Ken Meadows, a partnership that would shape their lives and the lives of those around them. Trell was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Cynthia Meadows of Lubbock and Bunny Bednarz of Lubbock (husband Darrell). Her love and dedication extended to her five grandchildren, Ashley Naylor (husband Branden) of Lubbock, Blake Bednarz (wife Jennifer) of Lubbock, Brett Bednarz (wife Kacy) of Lubbock, Justin Hanson (fiancée Lindsey) of Lubbock, and Brittney Fritz (husband Cole) of Lubbock. She was also blessed with five great-grandsons, all of Lubbock: Breck Bednarz, Declan Bednarz, Beau Bednarz, Davis Bednarz, Walker Naylor, and one future great-grandson, Caulder Fritz. Trell Meadows was a woman of faith and a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Petersburg. Her commitment to her community was exemplified by her work with Petersburg I.S.D. where Trell will forever be known as the “Angel Lady”. She cherished the opportunity to watch her family grow and thrive, especially when they were on the field or court, cheering them on from the stands with all her heart. In addition to her immediate family, Trell was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ruth Goldston, her beloved siblings, Lou Beard, Don Goldston, Ted Goldston and her husband, Kenneth Meadows, the love of her life who remained an eternal presence in her heart. Trell Meadows' memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Her life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and the bonds of family. She will be deeply missed but remembered with love and gratitude by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of those who have gone before her and the grace of the Lord she so faithfully followed.
